Fulfilling Dreams of Chronically Ill
Kate Sample, Sunshine Foundation
Back in the 1960s, Philadelphia Police Officer Bill Sample's assignment was a local children's hospital. It was there that he saw those who survived childhood illnesses, accidents, and birth defects. He decided to make a difference as the cop who spreads sunshine. Guest Kate Sample, President of the Sunshine Foundation, talks with host Candace Kelley, about continuing her husbands belief that every child should have at least one dream come true, even those with lifelong, severe, chronic conditions. sunshinefoundation.org
