Four Million Low-Income Americans Now Connected To High-Speed Internet

More than 4 million low-income Americans are now connected to the internet thanks to Comcast's Internet Essentials program. This milestone achievement was announced at a press event at Big Brothers Big Sisters in Miami. With millions of households gaining access online, Florida now ranks behind California among the states for the number of Internet Essentials connections. The Sunshine State now has almost half a million low-income residents in more than 120,000 households now connected to internet. Interview recorded on August 15, 2017.
