Nathalia Ortiz serves as a host of the national and Florida editions of Comcast Newsmakers. A bilingual journalist, Ortiz has extensive experience in both Spanish- and English-language media.
Ortiz began her career in 2006 as a weekend reporter for WLTV-TV in her hometown of Miami. She moved to New York City in 2008, where she reported for News 12 stations in the tristate area.
Later, Ortiz reported in English and Spanish for NBC and Telemundo New York. She also worked in communications at the Diocese of Brooklyn, where she created the Hispanic media department and led the launch of a digital and print newspaper for the Spanish-speaking Catholic community in Brooklyn and Queens.
Today, Ortiz reports bilingually for NBC and Telemundo Miami, and is a contributor for NBC News' Latino digital vertical.
