Eric Minor

Eric Minor serves as a host of Comcast Newsmakers in West Virginia and eastern Ohio. He is an award-winning news anchor and multimedia journalist whose full-time job is providing career coaching to students at West Virginia University’s Reed College of Media.

Minor’s broadcasting career has taken him from the White House press room, to the sidelines of the Super Bowl, to the launch pad of NASA’s LADEE lunar probe.

Minor worked as an anchor, reporter and producer for WBOY-TV in Clarksburg, W.Va., after graduating from the P.I. Reed School of Journalism, and then embarked on a 17-year career with WTOV-TV in Steubenville, Ohio/Wheeling, W.Va. He has also freelanced for WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh.

In 2014, Minor completed a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications and launched a new career in education.
