Tetiana Anderson serves as a host of the national edition of Comcast Newsmakers.

From Baghdad to Brooklyn, Anderson’s dedication and passion for a good story have carried her across the globe. She spent extensive time in a Middle East conflict zone producing and reporting for NBC News, MSNBC and CNN. Over the years, her work has appeared on NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, MSNBC, CNN, CBS Evening News, as well as several international news outlets. Anderson has also written for Maclean’s, People, Egypt Today, Edge Magazine and more.

After returning stateside, Anderson reported for a variety of outlets, including The Weather Channel, CBS Newspath, NY-1, News 12 Westchester, and worked as a producer on a variety of CNN shows out of the network’s New York bureau.

Throughout her career, Anderson has interviewed numerous notables including U.S. Rep. John Lewis, Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Fikri Isik, financial guru Suze Orman, and eight-time platinum recording artist 50 Cent.

Anderson is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and a 2012 New York Press Club award winner for Best Spot News TV. She serves as a national board member of Easterseals and though Anderson is a Midwesterner at heart, she now calls Washington, D.C., home.
