Jill Horner

Jill Horner serves as Comcast Newsmakers host in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Horner has worked as a television reporter, host, voiceover artist, and producer for more than a decade and is an award winning journalist whose work has appeared on CNN and CNN Headline News.

She has worked for News 12 New Jersey, WTXF-TV, WPSJ-TV and for The Comcast Network in the Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington, D.C. markets; and currently serves as a media consultant.

Horner also has a background on the stage, and as a vocalist, performed nationally and internationally with Marie Osmond in "The Sound of Music". Horner performed for United States and United Nations troops on military bases in Bosnia, Macedonia, Hungary and Kosovo. For her ongoing work with veterans organizations, she was awarded the New Jersey Civilian Meritorious Service Medal by the Adjutant General of New Jersey. Horner also received the Alice Paul Equality Award, given to those who work to advance women’s equality.

Horner earned a B.A. in journalism and American studies and an honors M.A. in history from Rutgers University.

She lives with her husband and two young boys.
