Calls for Increased Pay for Direct Support Professionals

In Pennsylvania, the salaries of Direct Support Professionals are largely determined by the state, but organizations that serve those with intellectual and developmental disabilities say the rates are not reflective of economic realities and are causing staffing shortages.
