About 19-thousand children are currently in Foster Care in the state of Florida, an estimated one-thousand of them in Broward County alone. The FLITE Center acts as a guide for kids who age out of the system and need a little help transitioning to full independence. CEO Christine Frederick discusses the center’s work.
