Curtain Up

The Rockford Public Library Nordlof Center (RPLNC) was gifted by Richard Nordlof in 2013. The building contains the J.R. Sullivan Theater, Walmart Computer Lab, a black box theater, and six other multi-purpose rooms. In July of 2019 RPLNC welcomed New Genres Arts Space, its first artist residency program for digital arts. The spaces come to life with a variety of events that enrich the community’s educational and cultural offerings; Community Theater, forums, film series, nationally known musical performers. The Rockford Public Library is in the design process for a new replacement Main Library.
