Funding Research for Self-Driving Technologies

The University of Michigan is part of a collaborative of Michigan organizations that won a $7.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation to fund research, development, and testing of self-driving technologies at U-M’s Mcity Test Facility, the American Center for Mobility (ACM) in Ypsilanti, and in the City of Detroit. Greg McGuire, Associate Director of Mcity talks with Laurel Hess about the importance of public trust in development of technologies.
