2017 marks the 75th anniversary of the internment of Japanese Americans in the U.S. during World War II. Nearly 120,000 people of Japanese descent, both immigrants, and U.S. citizens were ordered to assembly centers and sent to permanent relocation centers, which some refer to as concentration camps.
