The Immunization Partnerhsip
The Immunization Partnership helps individuals, physicians and others to make smart choices about protecting their communities from vaccine-preventable diseases. Every year, roughly 3 million people die from vaccine-preventable diseases worldwide, and countless more suffer life-long disabilities. TIP endeavors to prevent what's preventable. All across Texas, TIP conducts community and provider forums to educate the public on the latest in vaccine-related science and policy, advocates for evidence-based legislation, and builds the capacity of community-based immunization coalitions.
Allison Winnike, President and CEO spoke about flu season and the importance of getting vaccinated.
