One Scam Can Ruin You
Dennis Horton, Rockford Office Better Business Bureau
The Better Business Bureau wants consumers to learn precautions to avoid scams and fraud. Scammers are getting more complex and are frightening senior citizens to give out information. A scam can ruin your credit for life. Remember that no government agency will call or email you; they will send a letter. Do not engage callers and don't answer your phone if you don't recognize the number.
