Silent Sky
- 6:11Richard Raether - Artists' Ensemble Theater
In March, for Women’s History Month, Artists’ Ensemble Theater will present Silent Sky, the true story of Henrietta Leavitt and the real women "computers" working at the dawn of modern astronomy, 1894-1921. It was a breakthrough discovery by Leavitt that enabled astronomers, including Edwin Hubble, to calculate the distance between Earth and remote galaxies and stars.
