Ann Wasser, Director of Severson Dells Nature center discusses the importance of unplugging and connecting with nature. There is a growing body of research that suggests that time in nature provides a wide range of health benefits for all ages. Time in nature reduces heart rate, improves memory, reduces cortisol levels (stress hormones) and improves the symptoms of ADD/ADHD.
