The life of Jose M. Hernandez began very differently than where it is today. Jose and his family were migrant farm workers that followed the harvest from Mexico; up into northern California for 9 months out of every year. While his life began in Stockton, CA, he has persevered all the way into outer space. Comcast Newsmakers Field Correspondent highlights his incredible journey in celebration of the Latino community and the successes of Indiana's own Indiana Latino Institute during Hispanic Heritage Month .
