- 5:14Alderman Lopez - 15th Ward
Alderman Lopez to discuss a resolution he intends to introduce on 10/31 calling on the City Of Chicago to sell an additional $60 Million in general obligation bonds for six years in order to fund the full & complete modernization of Work Projects Administration streets within the city. The city has 518 total blocks of WPA streets. Since the WPA program ended in 1943, the federal government was responsible for maintenance and upgrading these streets.
