Storm Water Management
Mariyana Spyropoulos, Metropolitan Water Reclamation district
The metropolitan Water Reclamation district treats wastewater and manages stormwater. We treat wastewater through seven treatment plants. We manage stormwater through the Deep Tunnel System which is made up of 109 miles of underground tunnels and 3 reservoirs holding up to 22 billion gallons of stormwater.
