In 1960, hospital and community leaders established the Sparrow Memorial and Endowment Foundation, and in 1990 their name was officially changed to Sparrow Foundation. The Sparrow Foundation aims to provide quality, compassionate health care to everyone, every time, regardless of their ability to pay. Funding is provided for equipment, services, facilities, educational programs and research that would otherwise not be possible. Michelle Reynaert, Vice President of Sparrow Foundation talks about compassionate health care. Interview recorded October 26th, 2017.
