Read a partial transcript of the interview here:

Bennett: Recently named 17th Best Place to Live by Money Magazine.

Klein: It's a great honor. We've been working hard to make Avon a great place to live and work. There were four communities recognized so its nice to be in that top four.

Bennett: What made it the best place to live?

Klein: Money Magazine looks at a lot of things. We have a good mix of housing, art, parks system, events...the Hendricks Symphony is located in Avon. The Avon High School Marching Band is one of the best marching bands in the country.

Bennett: Are you ready for more growth?

Klein: Hendricks County and Washington Township, where Avon is located, is one of the fastest growing in the state of Indiana. When the recession was going on we were still experiencing growth. We've been growing about 10% a year in population from 4,000 in 1998 to about 19,000 today.

Bennett: What are some of the things you've learned here at the summit that you are planning to take back?

Klein: I just got done with the branding workshop on Evansville. I thought it was a really interesting process and I think I'll try and use that in Avon as well.

Bennett: What kind of brand do you think?

Klein: That's a good question. I think we'll try and bring in the 17th Best Place to Live as a major tie in.
