Michigan's automakers, led by General Motors and Ford, have made a big commitment to producing all electric and electric hybrid vehicles. They believe in this as the future to mobility. Bloomberg New Energy Finance anticipates that by 2020, there will be 39 models of plug-in electric hybrid vehicles and 44 models of full EVs available in the United States. Many of these new products are now in the design studios, advanced engineering and manufacturing centers in this state. Commissioner Norm Sarri of the Michigan Public Service Commission joins host Laurel Hess to talk about the future of electric vehicles. Interview recorded October 26th, 2017.
