The Michigan Municipal League Foundation helps create and maintain vibrant communities in Michigan by funding placemaking projects and educating community leaders and advocates. MMLF recognizes that communities are economic drivers, so the Foundation plays a key role in connecting communities to opportunities to help them grow and thrive. Researchers analyzed data from a 2016 National Survey of Children’s Health, which surveyed parents of children ages 17 and under.
