Hartford Performs teaches traditional subjects like math, science and english through art integration which can encourage creativity, self-confidence and higher academic achievement. Currently there are 850 programs in 32 of Hartford's public schools. Rie Poirier-Campbell, Executive Director of Hartford Performs discusses the program.
