Irineo Castillo, Program Coordinator for the LULAC National Educational Service Centers, or LNESC. The League of United Latin American Citizens or LULAC is a Hispanic civil rights organization, abranch of the Upward Bound program which services low income and first generation college applicants. LNESC provides resources to assist students with meeting their goal of being accepted into college. With a high success rate Castillo details the specifics of the program and how it benefits the youth of NM.
