Opioid, youth and jobs are priorities in Nashua Nashua Mayor, Jim Donchess, discusses his top priorities for the city. Some of these priorities include education, public safety and infrastructure. The Mayor also discusses his economic development plan. The economic development plan includes rail service and workforce development. Like in many places across the nation, the opioid public health crisis in Nashua is a challenge and a top priority. Jim created the Mayor's Opioid Task Force. Another topic discussed during this interview is Nashua's youth. Youth is a common challenge in many towns and cities. The Mayor accepted My Brother's Keeper Community Challenge as one way to provide Nashua youth with more opportunities. We also learn about some of the exciting things happening in the downtown area.
