Texas is growing. People come here to make a better life for themselves. To be able to sustain this growth, Texas must invest in its most precious resource - its youth. We can take them on field trips, invite speakers in, take them to conventions, but those all cost money to our schools. This community-driven event is free to students and incredible. The Teen Summit's goal is to help develop the leadership skills of high school students by connecting them with local executives, politicians, and community leaders. These student delegates will benefit from the speakers' experience and insights, and will be better prepared to become our next generation of leaders 200 Students from 18 schools in 3 ISDs, ages 15-17. Representing 4 House Districts and 4 Senate Districts in West Houston. 2nd Summit features 19 Speakers and 4 Breakout Panels, Business, Media, Politics, and Leadership.
