The Salvation Army of Greater Houston has served our community for more than 125 years. The Salvation Army has 17 locations and serves Fort Bend, Harris and Montgomery County. The Salvation Army counts with 7 Corps (churches), 7 family stores, 6 community centers, 5 Boys & Girls Clubs, 4 homeless shelters, 3 rehabilitation centers, 3 senior citizen day centers, as well as 2 senior citizen affordable housing facilities, 2 social services offices and an Upward Bound program at Sharpstown and Lee High School. In 2014, The Salvation Army of Greater Houston assisted over 20,000 individuals for Christmas. Red Kettle Campaign November 27 - December 24, 2015
