"The Fair Access for Moms Act would require more employers to provide a time and a space for moms who want to be able to nurse or to express milk ... But we want to expand the current law. So, basically, any employer with 15 or more employees would have to provide a time and a space for their employees to be able to express milk."
Women with children are the fastest-growing segment of the work force and balancing work and family is an important priority for them. More than 50 percent of women with infants less than one year old are in the labor force.
