TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights is back and more spectacular than ever this year - now with 2 million lights! Guests can stroll through majestic oak trees sparkling with millions of colorful LED lights. There are new and exciting additions around every corner at this year's most anticipated holiday tradition. From a completely lit-up African Forest with larger-than-life, glowing, rotating ornaments to a walk-in snow globe, Zoo Lights will be sure to delight the entire family. Back again are guest favorites "Holly Berry," the 1957 Cadillac, that features thousands of vibrant lights dancing in time to joyful music and the wonderfully amazing Enchanted Forest with life-size, lighted animal sculptures. Bring your camera to capture all the special moments, and seize the opportunity to get this year's family holiday photo, too!

Child Advocates and the McDonald's Houston Children's Festival

Every 9 minutes, a child in Texas experiences abuse or neglect. Nearly 4,000 children in the Houston area have experienced such life-threatening abuse or neglect that they had to be removed from their homes and placed in foster care. Child Advocates trains everyday people to advocate for the best interests of these children in court so they can find safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.
