The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program recognizes high school seniors for their community service, academic performance and leadership skills.  Students are nominated by their high school principals or guidance counselors and are recognized with one-time scholarship grants from the Comcast Foundation for their pursuit of higher education.  The program was founded in 2000, and the first scholarships were awarded in support of the 2001-02 school year.  Most scholarships are $1,000, with additional awards of varying levels provided through the Comcast Founders Scholarship and Gustave G. Amsterdam Leadership Award.
